These plants make a perfect start for a special and exclusive food forest.

Here's what you need to know about this Special Food Forest Package. The plants are delivered in pots. The package is composed of special varieties with high ornamental value, long harvest periods and a wide variety of flavours. Together, they form multiple layers of the food forest.

This package includes the following fruit trees and fruit plants:

1x Trio apple tree (Malus domestica ‘Trio’)
This tree carries three different apple varieties on one trunk: Jonagold, Gala and Golden Delicious. This creates a longer harvest period and better pollination. Grafted on a weak-growing rootstock, the tree is therefore well suited for early large fruit production in this food forest. Flowers richly in spring and produces aromatic hand apples and apples for juice and processing in autumn.

1x Duo pear tree
A pear tree with two different varieties on one trunk, Conference and Doyenne du comice. This ensures a staggered harvest and better fruit setting. The tree is hardy, strong and suitable for almost all soil types. The pears are juicy, sweet and suitable for both fresh use and stewing.

1x Apple with red flesh ‘Baya Marisa’
A striking and rare apple with deep red flesh to the core. The flavour is fresh-sweet with an aromatic, almost berry-like undertone. The tree blooms with pale pink to red-tinged blossoms and has red flared leaves, giving it ornamental value as well. Suitable for fresh consumption, pies, juice and salads while maintaining the red colour. Fully hardy.

2x Cherry bushes ‘Athos’ and ‘Porthos’
Unique cherries that grow as a bush and stand on their own roots. They grow about 2 metres tall and bear richly in June and July. The cherries are dark red, sweet and juicy. Due to the shrub form, they are easy to maintain and integrate well into the shrub layer of a food forest.

1x Striped fig (Ficus carica ‘Panache’)
An unusual fig with yellow-green striped skin and pink-red flesh. The flavour is very sweet and aromatic. This fig likes a warm, sheltered location. In a food forest, it forms a valuable tree or large shrub layer with both ornamental and eating value.

1x Loquat ‘Tanaka’ (Japanese wool medley)
An evergreen tree with large, leathery leaves and striking blooms in winter. The fruits ripen in spring and taste sweet-fresh, similar to apricot and pear. When sheltered, this tree is surprisingly hardy and adds an exotic character to the food forest.

1x Nashi pear ‘Shinko’
An Asian pear with round, golden-brown fruit. The flesh is very crisp, juicy and sweet. The tree flowers profusely in spring and is well hardy. Its strong growth and healthy characteristics make it very suitable for natural growing systems.

1x Honeyberry ‘Larisa’
A very early berry bush that produces elongated blue-purple berries as early as May to June. The flavour resembles a combination of blueberry and raspberry. Very hardy and an important early food source for both humans and insects.

1x Goji berry
A vigorous shrub with long, arching branches that bears orange-red berries in summer. The berries are sweet and slightly acidic and are known for their high nutritional value. Suitable for the fringe and shrub layer of the food forest.

4xWinter hard citrus (Carrizo and Citrumelo)
These four citrus plants are extremely cold-resistant and, in a sheltered location, can grow in the open ground. They form graceful trees with fragrant blossoms and aromatic fruits. Besides being edible, they are also very valuable for biodiversity and evergreen structure.

2x Japanese wineberry
A strong, thornless blackberry-like shrub that can grow as a ground cover or climber. In summer, it produces glossy, red-orange berries with a sweet, raspberry flavour. Very productive and ideal for the climbing pest of the food forest.

Important to know:

This special food forest is suitable for all common soil types, provided the soil is well-drained.
The plants grow best in half-sun to full sun. In prolonged drought, extra watering is necessary, especially in the first few years after planting.
The plants are supplied in different heights (Trees 100-120cm) (shrubs 40-80) and development stages, immediately creating a layered structure and increasing the harvest in the coming years.

Die 4 Pflanzen sehen ganz gut aus. Habe nicht nach gemessen, ob die Höhe stimmt. Jetzt bleibt abzuwarten, ob sie anwachsen. Für den Preis kann ich also bisher nicht meckern :)
