This versatile shrub can grow up to 3 metres tall and is characterised by large, dark green leaves. During the months of April and May, 'Dalmatia' blooms with small, green flowers, followed by the development of fruits, which ripen around September.<\/p>\n
The fruits of Ficus carica 'Dalmatia' are large and have a greenish-yellow skin with juicy, red flesh. This variety is known to bear fruit early in the season, which can, however, pose a challenge during spring frosts. It is possible to grow this fig tree in a pot.<\/p>\n
