With its attractive white blossoms in spring and juicy light green plums in summer, this tree is an asset to any garden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fruit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The plums of the &#039;Reine Claude Verte&#039; are small, round and have a light green skin. The flesh is greenish yellow, juicy, firm and deliciously aromatic with a honey-sweet taste. These plums are ideal for direct consumption, but also perfectly suitable for compote, juice or preserves. The harvest time is <strong>August<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flowering and pollination<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In April and May the tree adorns itself with an abundance of white, slightly fragrant flowers. Since this variety is not self-pollinating, it is necessary to plant another plum tree nearby for good fruit bearing.
