Tonkin bamboo stick is beautifully straight and dimensionally stable and therefore has hardly any gradient along the entire length of the stick. Tonkin bamboo is thick-walled and therefore suitable for outdoor use, even in contact with the ground. Compared to the other Chinese bamboo species Moso, Tonkin bamboo canes are slightly paler (whiter) in colour.<\/p>\n
