The Vitis vinifera 'Vanessa' is a robust plant that excels in health. This grape plant is exceptionally hardy and shows a high resistance to mildew. In the Netherlands, the grapes ripen well, which means they can usually be harvested in September. The light red fruits are free of seeds, which increases the enjoyment. Although the grapes are small in size, this makes them very suitable for outdoor cultivation. In addition, this grape has a long shelf life. The 'Vanessa' is often praised as the best seedless grape for the Dutch climate.
