A rootstock is the base on which another plant part is grafted. It is the root and stem part of a plant on which a specific variety is placed. The rootstock largely determines vigour, disease resistance and adaptation to different soil conditions.

When growing fruit trees, the choice of rootstock is very important. Different rootstock types have different properties, such as vigour, tolerance to specific soil types and disease resistance. By choosing the right rootstock, we can ensure that the tree develops optimally and produces the desired fruit.

NOTE: Rootstocks can be ordered again, they will be delivered from November/December 2025 , depending on grubbing and grading, and the order of orders.
