This Japanese maple is a slow grower and therefore does very well in the garden or on the patio or balcony. A fully grown tree is no taller than about 1.5 to 2 metres. Place the tree in a sheltered semi-shade location to keep the leaf colour at its best. This tree starts in spring with deeply incised beautiful orange leaves that change to yellow leaves with orange margins and leaf tips in summer. In autumn the leaves turn yellow.
