The Asimina triloba, also known as the Pawpaw, is a native North American fruit tree. The fruits have a green skin and soft, creamy flesh with a unique, sweet flavor reminiscent of banana and mango. Pawpaw trees thrive in moist, fertile soil and often require a sheltered location.
