This beautiful plant 9 also called the Chilean lantern tree, originates from Chile where it mainly grows near streams and humid environments and blooms with beautiful pink lantern-like flowers. It is a slow grower and therefore ideal for a tub plant or planter but given the previous text also a super plant to put near your pond! The plant likes a shady environment and is limited winter hardy to -10 degrees.
