Hemerocallis 'Pink Damask', also called Day Lily, is an easy and strong perennial with pretty, pure pink to salmon pink flowers. It flowers from June to August and grows about 70 cm tall. The lily-like flowers smell nice and attract butterflies in particular. With some fertiliser after the main flowering period, there will be additional flowering in September.
This plant grows well in sun or semi-shade, in almost any soil type. It is perfect for borders, pots or in small groups among other plants. Hardy, drought and sea wind resistant, it has even won a Garden Merit award. A simple, cheerful garden plant!
