Prunus 'Porthos'® Unique cherry bush, 3-litre pot

Unique product! Prunus Porthos is a cherry bush that can be planted in a pot or in the ground. In a pot, the plant will not grow higher than approx. 100 to 150 cm, depending on the pot size. In the ground, it will grow to a maximum of approx. 200 to 250 cm, depending on the location. The variety is very winter-hardy and not susceptible to diseases. Porthos® originated from a crossbreeding research program of approximately 60 years and is unique in the world because these plants stand on their own roots and do not need to be cultivated. The plants are self-pollinating and usually bear fruit within two to four years of receipt. Porthos® produces dark red fruits and are ripe in June/July, depending on the weather conditions. The cherries are medium-sized and sweet in taste. Please note: protect your cherries from birds. Available in a 3-liter pot of approx. 50-70 cm height.
