The Pyrus pyrifolia 'Nijisseiki', also known as the Japanese Nashi pear or '20th Century' pear, is a special fruit tree with a rich history and origins in Japan. This Nashi pear combines the best qualities of a pear and an apple, with its round, apple-like fruits and juicy, crisp flesh.
