'Geneva' is an American selection known for its abundant harvest of delicious berries. This climbing plant, which can grow up to 5 metres tall, begins flowering with beautiful white flowers in May. This healthy fruit is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals and has a naturally high sugar content, especially when the fruits are well ripened. You can expect to harvest from late October to late November, depending on the first night frosts that allow the fruit to ripen quickly. Both fresh and processed, the berries are edible.
In female flowers, the formation of hairless green-red fruits follows after flowering, provided a male plant is present nearby.
These small kiwis (3-4 cm) are not only decorative, but also a tasty surprise. With their sweet, aromatic flavour, they add a delicious note to your gardening experience.
Actinidia arguta 'Geneva' thrives best in fertile, well-drained soil. Moreover, this kiwi grape shows its robustness by being reasonably drought-tolerant. It is also remarkably disease-resistant and pest-free.
