The Malus domestica ‘Jonagold’ is a classic and vigorous apple variety known for its large, golden-yellow fruits with a warm red blush. The apples have a a pleasantly sweet, aromatic flavour with a hint of freshness, making them ideal for eating fresh or using in cakes or desserts. This old apple tree is a magnificent, fully-grown tree measuring approximately 1.8–2 metres high, grown in a large 45-litre pot. The tree already has a well-developed crown structure and can bear plenty of fruit within a short space of time.

The Jonagold It blooms profusely in spring with soft pink to white blossoms that attract many bees and other pollinators. In late summer and autumn, the harvest of the characteristic Jonagold apples – firm, juicy and keeps well.
