The nectarine “Caldesi 2000” is a round and consistent fruit with a yellow color that is covered with a shiny red blush for 90%. The flesh is yellow with a striking reddish shade around the stone. The flesh is fine in texture, very fleshy and tasty with an excellent quality and aroma. This nectarine is considered one of the best among the cultivars and ripens in the middle of July. The trees are moderately strong and very productive with a lateral, upright and fast growth habit. This nectarine tree is self-pollinating and is harvested during week 2 to week 3 of July.
