Introduce your garden or your fruit collection to the gorgeous Greek Red pomegranate! This pomegranate is native to northern Greece.
With its semi-hard seeds and good sweet flavour, the Greek Red offers a brilliant addition to your garden or fruit collection. This pomegranate variety has glossy fruits with a yellowish-red colour and juicy seeds that are high in sugar with low acidity. Moreover, the fruit is resilient after harvest, with harvest starting in mid-October.
The pomegranate grows from a bush form into a tree and flowers almost all summer. Under the right conditions, it quickly grows into a sizeable shrub or tree.
Hardy to -17 degrees Celsius, and better hardy than well-known brands such as, Acco or Wonderful.
