Planting and preparation
Fruit plant deals are best planted in autumn or early spring, but other periods are also possible as long as the soil is not frozen. Loosen the soil well and divide the plants according to the planting advice provided before planting. Water generously after planting.
Stand and soil
The right location is important for growth and yield.
- A sunny spot promotes flowering and fruiting
- Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil supports healthy plants
- Allow enough space for each plant
Care during the year
- Water regularly, especially in dry periods and the first year
- Mulch helps retain moisture and improves soil structure
- In spring, fertilisation supports growth and fruit set
Maintenance and harvesting
Fruit plants require targeted maintenance for a good harvest.
- Prune fruit trees and shrubs according to species and season
- Remove damaged or diseased parts in good time
- Regular harvesting keeps the plant vital
With proper care, fruit plant deals ensure a bountiful harvest and years of enjoyment of fresh fruit from your own garden.
