Anemone hupehensis 'Splendens' - Japanese anemone - Root stock - 5 plants

Anemone hupehensis ‘Splendens’, also known as Japanese anemone or Heath anemone, is an enchanting perennial that enlivens the garden from August to October. While many plants close their blooms, this anemone shines with an abundance of dark pink flowers with a golden yellow centre. With a height of 70 to 80 cm and lush green leaves that can grow up to 40 cm wide, it makes an upright, bushy appearance that fits perfectly in borders or group plantings.

This hardy, deciduous plant thrives best in a light to semi-shaded spot in well-drained soil. A sunny position is also possible, provided the soil remains sufficiently moist - ‘Splendens’ has medium water requirements and is not drought-resistant.
