Bring subtle elegance to your garden with Astrantia major 'Pink Pride', a beautiful Zeeland knot that sparkles with old-fashioned pink flowers from July to August. This perennial reaches a height of 60-80 cm and flowers profusely with finely textured flower heads surrounded by bracts with green tips. Perfect for borders, this 'Pink Pride' thrives in both sun and semi-shade, in nutrient-rich, well-drained and moist soil - do avoid the bright midday sun.
This low-maintenance beauty requires little care: prune spent flowers for a chance to rebloom and remove unsightly leaves before winter. Beware of snails, but otherwise this plant is an easy grower, even in hotter summers. Propagate? Rip the plant in spring and replant. A reliable and stylish addition to any garden!
