This beautiful plant, also known as the Chilean lantern tree, originated in Chile where it grows mainly near streams and wetlands and blooms with beautiful white lantern-like flowers. It is a slow grower and therefore ideal for a tub or planter but, given the previous text, also a super plant for your pond! The plant likes a shady environment and is hardy to -10 degrees.
