This type of bamboo is clump-forming, which means that it does not spread through the garden. Fargesia can serve as an excellent separation but can of course also stand alone. It is winter-hardy and evergreen. Because the bract remains on the young stems, this type of bamboo gets a beautiful green-white effect. This plant does not spread but can easily grow to a height of 3.5 meters!
