Fatsia polycarpa 'Green Fingers', finger plant, 2 litre pot

The Fatsia polycarpa 'Green Fingers', also known as the finger plant, is a special and refined variety of the popular Fatsia japonica. What makes this plant so special are the hand-shaped leaves with seven irregularly shaped fingers, which give it a unique and exotic look. Adding this beautiful finger plant to your garden will undoubtedly create a touch of jungle atmosphere.

The finger plant thrives best in a nutritious and well-drained soil. It is important to place the plant in a sheltered spot, preferably in partial shade or shade, where it can benefit from some indirect sunlight. This plant is not demanding when it comes to soil type, but a moist environment is essential for its healthy growth. Make sure the soil remains moist regularly, but avoid overwatering which can lead to root rot.

Although the finger plant is generally quite tolerant of cold temperatures, it is wise to protect it from severe frost. This can be done by covering the plant with a layer of mulch or by temporarily moving it to a protected location during the coldest winter months.

With its striking leaf structure and evergreen properties, the Fatsia polycarpa 'Green Fingers' is not only a beautiful addition to your garden, but also a plant that remains visually attractive all year round. Enjoy the lush look and exotic vibes that this finger plant brings with it.
