Meet the delicious Lonicera caerulea 'Rebecca', better known as honeyberry. This Polish late variety of honeyberry is known for its exceptional properties. The shrub grows to a height of 1.2-1.6 m and is very fruitful and frost-resistant, with a tolerance of temperatures down to -45 degrees Celsius.
The fruits of the 'Rebecca' are remarkably large, one of the largest among all honeyberry varieties. They are exceptionally tasty, extremely aromatic, sweet and sour, and juicy. The taste is often compared to that of blueberries. The honeyberries reach total ripeness in the second half of June and can yield up to 5 kg of fruit per bush. The fruits remain firmly attached to the bush and can be harvested mechanically. In addition, they are suitable for transport due to their firm structure.
The 'Rebecca' is suitable both as a dessert fruit and for processing. The fruits are perfect for making jam, juices, preserves and can also be dried or frozen. For optimal pollination, the 'Ruben' and 'Tola' varieties are excellent pollinators for this honeyberry variety. Experience the wealth of nature with Lonicera caerulea 'Rebecca' in your garden.
