Prunus armeniaca ‘Bergeron’ apricot, 5-litre pot

The ‘Bergeron’ apricot variety ripens in early September. The fruit is of medium size, with yellow-orange flesh that is moderately firm and juicy. These apricots have a sweet-tart and aromatic flavour. The apricot is a small deciduous tree with broad, oval, glossy green leaves. It flowers in March or April with beautiful single white to pale pink flowers. It grows well in heavy and cold soils and in north- or north-west-facing locations. This apricot tolerates drought better than excessive moisture. The ‘Bergeron’ is one of the best-producing varieties in Europe.
