Prunus dulcis ‘Texas’ is a vigorous and productive almond tree that is prized for its abundant blossoms and tasty nuts. This variety is known for its good fruit set, robust growth and relatively reliable production in the European climate. In early spring, it produces a magnificent display of light pink to white-pink flowers, which give the tree an elegant appearance whilst attracting bees and other pollinators.

After flowering, the familiar almonds develop, ripening from late summer into autumn. The nuts are enclosed in a green, felt-like husk that bursts open as soon as the almonds are ripe. The flavour is mild, aromatic and perfect for eating fresh, roasting or using in dishes and baked goods.
