This set of 3 Fragaria vesca ‘Yellow Wonder’ consists of a distinctive variety of strawberry with white to yellow fruit, also known as the yellow wild strawberry. This variety is prized for its aromatic flavour and continuous fruiting throughout the season. The plants remain compact, making them suitable for vegetable gardens, pots and edible borders.
‘Yellow Wonder’ produces small, cone-shaped fruits that are less attractive to birds than red strawberries. The flavour is sweet and fragrant, similar to that of wild strawberries. The plants flower and bear fruit over a long period, particularly when harvested regularly.

About Fragaria vesca ‘Yellow Wonder’
Fragaria vesca ‘Yellow Wonder’ is a perennial strawberry with a compact growth habit. During the growing season, the plant produces fresh green foliage, white flowers and, subsequently, its characteristic pale-coloured fruit. In autumn, most of the above-ground foliage dies back. In winter, the plant is less visible above ground, before sprouting fresh shoots again in spring.
The plants grow best in a sunny to semi-shaded spot in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Regular picking encourages new flowering and fruit set. Thanks to their compact size, these strawberries are also ideal for growing in containers and pots.
