Be surprised by the special Actinidia arguta ‘Ken's Red’, a unique kiwi berry with red flesh and red skin! This mini kiwi is deliciously sweet in taste, rich in vitamin C and can be be eaten with peel and all. The compact, vigorously growing climbing plant is perfect for on a pergola, fence or rack and forms aromatic fruits about 3 to 5 cm long from autumn onwards.
‘Ken's Red’ is a female variety, and to get fruiting, a male pollinator is needed - for example, the Actinidia arguta ‘Issai’. It blooms in June with sweet-smelling, creamy-white flowers that also attract bees and butterflies. The fruits are not only delicious, but also stay firm longer than many other kiwi berries - ideal for storing for a while for later.
This creeper is hardy, good disease resistance and tolerates air pollution and light drought. The plants in this set of 4 are in 9 cm pots and are approx. 25 cm high - ideal for immediate planting.

Edible with skin
Well-hardy and disease-resistant
