About Olea europaea ‘Picual’ (Picual olive)

‘Picual’ has narrow, leathery leaves with a grey-green upper surface and silver underside. As the tree ages, it develops a characteristic, rougher trunk. Growth is generally more slender than in some other olive varieties.

This cultivar is known worldwide for its high oil content and is widely used in southern countries for olive oil production.
